Sherrie Gibson, Director College Advising

Sherrie is an experienced college consultant who advises students and parents  on navigating the college application process, building clear academic and financial maps towards a college degree, identifying the variety of scholarships available for students based on each student’s individual situation, aspirations, and accomplishments,  and creating the most competitive resume for your student.

Sherrie is from 29 Palms, California where her husband served honorably as a United States Marine. The proud mother of two lovely children (Brian, 15 and Aliyah, 6), Sherrie understands the dreams that other parents have for their children’s future and the work that it takes to achieve those dreams. Sherrie is a first generation college graduate and as such, she is passionate about helping students achieve their goal of getting into college. Her diligence has proven highly effective in assisting students attain scholarships and acceptances.

Though she already possesses a B.A. in Political Science, Sherrie is continuing her commitment to education by currently pursuing an MBA. She has served as a Financial Adviser with a top securities firm, and taught at Copper Mountain College in Joshua Tree, California. This unique experience allows her to understand the financial concerns of paying for college and the ability to effectively navigate the college admissions process.
