We have also been receiving overwhelmingly positive feedback and results from our students and parents.
Third grader, Tatiana, is gaining needed speed of reading and rapidly improving reading comprehension. She is always excited to come to class and has shown improvement in her confidence with reading in the month that she has been working with the program.
Sixth grader Gabi, who takes Middle School Creative Writing I, said, “I learn about writing that I didn’t know about before. I get to write a lot, which I absolutely love.”
Tenth grader Ryan, who takes three of the After School University English courses, High School Literature Foundations, High School Creative Writing I, and Grammar and Writing Foundations, also enjoys the program. He said, “it’s really fun. I get to learn about new styles of literature that I hadn’t known about.”
Senior Charlie Smith’s ACT Reading and English scores went up six points after studying with the English program. He has been coming to us to help polish up his college entrance essay as a part of our College Essay Boot Camp.
